For over 60 years, our beloved pool has been a source of joy, refreshment, and connection for generations of shomrim/ot. Each summer, it has offered our chanichim/ot a place to cool off, grow friendships, and create lifelong memories.
Now, after decades of faithful service, the time has come to build a brand-new pool—one that will continue this tradition for many generations to come.
We are thrilled to share that construction is already underway, and the new pool will be ready for Summer 2026! Thanks to a $500,000 grant from the State of New York, we will soon have a state-of-the-art pool in Camp Shomria’s history.

We’ve just reached one of the most exciting milestones in the pool’s journey: gunite spraying.
After weeks of planning, digging, and preparation, this is the moment when the pool truly begins to take shape. What was once an empty excavation is now being transformed into a solid, lasting structure, the foundation of everything to come.
