PACKING LIST

This list is a guide to help you prepare for the needs of your child/children in the Catskill Mountains. You may make changes, but you are encouraged not to over-pack. Please do not pack unnecessary clothing or expensive items, which may be damaged during every day camp usage. Camp Shomria will not be responsible for any lost or damaged personal belongings of campers. Please do not send valuable items to camp, including items of sentimental value, as campers tend to lose or damage those sorts of items.

 Please keep in mind they will get to do laundry every 7-10 days, and should pack enough clothes for 10 days.

All Clothing, towels and sheets must be marked with the child's first and last names.

 Linens
- Blanket /Sleeping bag
- Sheet
- Fitted Sheet
- Pillow
- Towels (It's convenient to have one towel for the pool and one for the shower)

- Laundry bag

Clothing
- Pajamas
- Socks
- Underwear
- T-shirts
- Swimsuit
- Shorts
- White clothing for Shabbat
- Long jeans or sturdy pants
- Sweatshirts or warm sweaters
- White T-shirt for Tie-Dye x2 (optional)

Toiletries
- Toothbrush & toothpaste
- Shampoo, conditioner, soap
- Comb/brush
- Hygiene products
​- We recommend bringing a shower caddy for easy use

Outdoors
- Small backpack for the hike
- Water bottle
- Hat
- Sunscreen
- Bug repellent
- Flashlight
- Raincoat/Jacket
- Sunglasses

Shoes
- Waterproof shoes/sandals (for the shower)
- Rain boots
- Sneakers/closed walking shoes (Mandatory)

- Books, games, cards
- Notepad, stamps, envelopes
- Instruments, sports

Not Allowed
- SCREENS: any phones, ipads, etc will be stored in the office throughout the summer. Please do not bring any to camp
- No drugs, alcohol, smoking devices: they will be confiscated and will review disciplinary measures for the camper
- No weapons such as knives, firecrackers, slingshots, etc
