Saying Goodbye to Eden, Our Educational Shlicha!

Dear amazing and beloved Hashomer Hatzair USA community.

After two and a half years full of experiences, action, challenges, and above all, love, the time has come to say goodbye. It’s not easy to say goodbye, but I'm also very excited to return home to my family, friends, and community that I’ve missed so much.

The past two years haven’t always been easy—they were challenging and full of ups and downs. But looking back now, I can see how much we’ve learned, grown, and developed together. I hope I was able to contribute in even a small way. Please know that, although I am far from perfect and surely made mistakes along the way, everything I did was with good intentions and a full heart.

There are incredible people continuing the path we started together, and I’m confident that this movement and community will keep growing, developing, and flourishing.

I want to take a moment to thank Roni, Ziv, Yuval, Omer, Adam, and Lior—without you, none of this would have been possible. You are the most committed, thoughtful, and responsible team I’ve ever worked with, dedicated to building a better future for the movement.

Thanks also to our amazing Hadrcha—a group of people who approach their work with heart, dedication, and passion, doing so much to keep the movement alive. I’ve cherished every moment with you. And thank you to the board members who were always ready to lend a helping hand when needed.

It has been such an honor to be part of this incredible community, to meet all of our amazing Chanichim, and along the way, to get to know most of their parents, too.

I wish for Hashomer Hatzair and this community to continue growing, thriving, and becoming even stronger.

With all my love,
Eden
