The most hospitable house in Poland is, of course, our house of safety, our "ken" in Wroclaw!
Many families have already received temporary shelter there, before a long trip to other country, or while looking for another place to live.
Today there was a surprise visit by Anna the Russian speaking countries desk coordinator, Tami the European Mazkira and Ricky the Shaliach of Milan. Ricky and Tami are on their way back from Przemyśl, driving back the van that was used to carry the Italian humanitarian aid. After a busy volunteering week with refugee children on the Polish border (together with our second delegation lead by our Shlicha in Rome, Shiri) they had spent the night in Wroclaw visiting our peilot from Kharkiv. Zhenya and Vika, our shlichot in Ukraine, are the most sincere hostesses. "We ate, hugged and told a lot of stories". The following morning, they began to prepare another room for another family, which successfully crossed the border at night and is on its way to a new life...
