02/28 Update from Ukraine

Hello all

Here are some news from Katya from the Polish border

Until now, we are in line for departure. Did not cross the border stand on the border more than 10 hours. There are people that are so worth it for more than a day. An unusual feeling when you understand that it could go in 20 minutes on foot. I did not meet such kindness from strangers. Everything in a single impulse. After that, I wanted to help myself agreed with my sister, that if we leave, we will help too. Honestly, if it were not for the family, I would stay in Kharkov and tried to provide medical care in the extreme case - would take the machine and at least someone I could not inactivate, but I am responsible for my family and sisters, I can't be calm until they are safe. I can not imagine that they feel guys, which remained. I just hope it will end.

In the past few days thank to the fundraising campaigns that are running now in Austria, USA and Israel and with the help of many of the people that are members of this update group, we where able to do some significant things

We have bought generators, we have opened food distribution centers and we have helped numerous people.

The shomeric companionship and the general kind help of many people astonish us and brings hope to many people in Ukraine.

We have rented few apartments and helped preparing safe places for people to hide and to find refuge.

We continue, all steam a head. We are currently looking for more ways to help and we struggle to find more money and more ways to bring cash into the bombarded cities

The Ukrainian people are brave, humble and generous

We witness great stories of kindness and hope

Your help is appreciated by many and that fact people care is pricless
